NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:
Sealed bids will be received by the Pike County Board of Supervisors (Owner) until 10:00 a.m., May 3,
2023, in the Pike County Courthouse at 175 S Cherry Street Magnolia, MS 39652 for the project titled 2022
Pike County Use Tax Reseal Project. Bids shall be addressed to the attention of the County Administrator.
CONTRACT TIME: 300 Calendar Days
BASIS OF AWARD
The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities.
The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract
entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to
submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color,
or national origin in consideration for an award.
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS are on file in the County Engineer's office. The Engineer is Neel-
Schaffer, Inc., 206 Maryland Avenue, McComb, Mississippi 39648, (601) 684-4564, Fax No. (601) 684-
0526.
Bid documents are being made available via paper or digital copy. Plan holders are required to log-in or
register for an account at www.neel-schafferplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders
are required to have a valid email address for registration. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be
purchased through the website. If anyone prefers to submit their bid electronically instead of in a sealed
envelope, they can do so through the website. Please contact Plan House Printing at (601) 336-6378 with
questions regarding website registration, electronic bidding and online orders.
Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the Owner and the State
of Mississippi must accompany each proposal.
Each bidder shall write his Certificate of Responsibility number on the outside of the sealed envelope
containing his proposal.
Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition
under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be
considered in making the award.
