1.0 Description

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), through the Office of Chief Human Capital Officer, is soliciting information from top-tier public and private-sector companies interested in hosting NASA leaders for a two-week training immersion experience.

This opportunity supports NASA’s career development programs designed to improve the technical, professional, and management competencies of NASA employees. Through hands-on exposure to public and industry best practices, participants develop the necessary competencies, knowledge, and skills to build, sustain, and be a mission-ready workforce.

Training immersion experiences are designed as two-week, onsite experiences with industry organizations. Participants are matched with an organization executive sponsor who will help target exposure to each participant's learning objectives. NASA participants will learn through observation and participation in key meetings, presentations and training briefings, tours, and day-to-day exposure to the organizational work environment, culture, and people. We anticipate organizations will also benefit from training NASA leaders through shared ideas, collaborative learning, and building stronger networks and relationships.
