The Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory (CHL) has a requirement for 2 (two) new Thrustmaster brand name Hydraulic Outboard Propulsion units or equal (BNOE). The requirement includes two (2) Thrustmaster brand OD150N Standard Integrated Hydraulic Outboard Propulsion Units model year 2023 or equal. The following are salient characteristics of the Thrustmaster Brand Hydraulic Outboard Propulsion Units (ea):

• Outboard propeller systems for attachment to civilian or military barges with hydraulic power unit


• 150 horsepower diesel engines in compliance with minimum EPA marine diesel tier requirements for engine size and manufacture date


• 112-224 kW power generation capability


• Enclosed diesel-hydraulic power unit with local controls and remote controls


• Separate remote-control unit, must have capability to integrate with autonomous control package


• Fuel: capable of running on type F–76 naval distillate and/or military JP-8 fuel \


• 360-degree steering range


• 90-180-degree tilt capability


• Stem length 7 ft-12ft


• Propeller diameter 28 in


• Inclusion of on-site maintenance years 1- 4:

OPTION 1 CLIN 0002: Two (2) each BNOE Minimum Spares Package (up to 5yrs maint overhaul): All required seals (kit), all required bearings (kit), all required gaskets (kit), all required o-rings (kit), all required filters (kit), all required gaskets (kit), spare propeller blade, all required fasteners (kit), all required electrical spares (kit).

OPTION 2 CLIN 0003: Two (2) each BNOE Complete Spares Package (up to 5yrs maint overhaul): All required seals (kit), all required bearings (kit), all required gaskets (kit), all required o-rings (kit), all required filters (kit), all required gaskets (kit), spare propeller blade, all required fasteners (kit), all required electrical spares (kit). Includes following tools: pressure gauge, pressure gauge stem mount, encoder assembly, sensor level, microcontroller, graphical display, switch level NC, switch level temp, transducer pres/temp, joystick remote.

OPTION 3 CLIN 0004: Five (5) year light overhaul at vendor facility, service similar or equal to - Government will provide shipping to and from vendor.
