The USDA Agricultural Research Service’s Water Quality and Ecology Research Unit is seeking to purchase a blue-list approved Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) capable of carrying a 19 lb maximum payload, 43 minute maximum flight time, 51 mph top speed, with Herelink Blue radio system. The UAV must also be capable of integrating the Unit’s current UAV camera system (Micasense Altum multispectral camera and Sony A79 MK III camera with 50 mm fixed lens). The UAV will be used to fly experimental systems studied by the Unit and its collaborators over both terrestrial and aquatic terrain in agricultural systems.
