This SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE is for the purpose of Market Research. Response to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No proposals or quotes are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS or QUOTES and NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall NOT be construed as solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.

The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is seeking preferably Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, or Small Businesses (but will accept other than small business for market research purposes), capable of providing furniture installation, relocation, design-layout, and storage services for the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Biloxi, MS.

The NAICS code is 484210Â Used Household and Office Goods Moving and the Size Standard is $34M. Responses must be received by no later than 10:00 a.m. Central Time, Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Responses shall be emailed to rene.impey@va.gov. Responses shall include Capabilities Statements, Unique Entity ID (UEI) number, and whether the requirement is on GSA/FSS schedule or Open Market. FURNITURE INSTALLATION, RELOCATION,
DESIGN-LAYOUT AND STORAGE SERVICES
PURPOSE:
The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System requires a Moves Contractor to support our entire relocation program healthcare system wide. This is a non-personnel services contract to provide furniture installation, relocation activities, design services, and off-site storage needs to include inventory management. The Move Contractor shall be a commercial furniture installer as well as demonstrate solid healthcare experience which allows Contractor to provide a full range of services described in this PWS herein. It is imperative that commercial furniture contractors are utilized and not a moving company, these are specialized services requiring factory trained installers on specific system furniture components. Contract is required for weekly support, four days per week, to offer assigned days to complete facility coordinated moves, Interior Design generated work orders from the VA s Maximo system, as well as inventory management services to include off-site storage provision, warehousing management of both off-site and Biloxi VA Medical Center Warehouse 9, RFID asset tracking/management, and detailed oriented inventory system for both storage sites to be maintained and updated routinely. Design Services associated with this Contract shall include furniture layout recommendations to validate furniture inventories will fit in proposed locations and meet ADA/Life Safety codes and space planning reviews.
