Description

Columbus AFB is seeking replacement of (24) chapel pews IAW the attached SOW. Contractor shall provide all management, labor, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, and other items necessary to remove and replace current pews.





Ground Floor of Chapel:



22 Pews at 13 Feet 2 inches long, all with fold down kneelers.



2 Pews at 13 Feet 2 inches long without kneelers.



Chapel Pews are divided into 2 sections (12 pews per side) within the sanctuary.





The contractor will provide brochures, catalogs, or other documentation showing all options in appearance and functionality that may be chosen to match the specifications listed in this SOW, as well as any options not listed. The contractor will secure the removal of the current pews and disposal properly. The 14 FTW/HC will utilize these resources to choose pew design, wood stain color and fabric options. All furniture shall be made with cabinet grade hard wood plywood and solid oak or comparable with a stained finish. The pew body will be solid oak with contoured back and cushioned seat. Additionally, the pews will have hymnbook racks with communion cup holders manufactured from solid oak. The pews will have a solid oak kneelers with cushioned and upholstered kneeling pads. Particular styles of each specification above or any other specifications required will be coordinated with the 14 FTW/HC prior to purchase.

52.232-18 Availability of Funds



Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
