Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to issue an award on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)) to Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, Inc. 7102 Riverwood Drive, Columbia, Maryland 21046-1245 for the requirement of maintenance service contract for warranty equipment Shimadzu TOC-L Series; TOC-LCSN, ASI-L, and TNM-L instrumentation. The tasks and deliverables for services should include one preventative maintenance to include necessary cleaning, adjustments, verification, and lubrication and parts replacement. Coverage also includes all technician labor and travel, OEM parts (excluding consumables), unlimited repairs either on-site or at a Shimadzu Scientific Instruments Service Center, and phone support. All service shall be performed by a Shimadzu certified technician.



The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210 – Other Electronic And Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar supply. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
