THE US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, ENGINEER RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER (ERDC) has a requirement to provide SAIM Journals in support of the ERDC Information Technology Laboratory Branch. ERDC intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price contract to Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), 3600 University City Science CTR, Philadelphia, PA 19104, in accordance with FAR Part 13. The information Technology Laboratory (ITL) branch currently accomplishes civil and military writing and publishing missions. The products will satisfy the ITL requirements by extending the capabilities of the writing and publishing missions. SIAM is the sole publisher for the required journals. The award will be issued in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). The NAICS code for this requirement is 519130 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is for information purpose only. This is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. A solicitation will not be issued; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The information submitted must be provided in sufficient detail to demonstrate the vendor’s ability to fulfill requirements which are the same or similar to this requirement and references of each. Information received will be considered solely for the determining wither to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to the notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
