Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC Yazoo City)intends to award a contract to a landfill provider for the disposal of Solid Non-Hazardous Waste from FCC Yazoo City located at 2225 Haley Barbour Parkway,Yazoo City, Mississippi 39194. A landfill provider currently operating an existing landfill will accept collected waste from the FCC's compactors, roll-offs, and open-top roll-off containers. The resulting contract will extend from October 01,2023 thru September 30, 2024. An estimated amount of 3,000 tons of waste is expected to accumulate within this performance period. This solicitation is unrestricted for business. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The North American Industry Classification System code for this service is 562212 and the applicable small business size standard is $12.5M.



The solicitation will be made available on or about September 14, 2023. Upon issuance, solicitation packages may be accessed electronically at this address: www.sam.gov. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure theyhave the most current information concerning this solicitation. All responsible businesses may submit a quote. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government, although not based solely on price.





All offers must be received by the Contracting Officer specified above no later than 2:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, on September 29, 2023. Quotes received after this date will not be considered.
