The G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery VA Medical Center, Facilities Management Service, located at 1500 E. Woodrow Wilson, Drive, Jackson, MS 39216 is seeking a qualified, experienced contractor to perform the following services: Arc Flash Hazard Analysis (Five (5) Year, Follow Up, Reoccurring Assessment and Analysis) of the facility’s electrical distribution system). The Arc Flash Hazard Analysis that is needed is a reassessment, follow up, recertification analysis that must be performed every five (5) years which “piggybacks” off of the extensive analysis that was conducted five (5) years earlier. Six (6) areas in the facility’s electrical distribution system have changed since the last study which will require a reassessment. The remaining, existing structures/areas of the facility’s electrical distribution system have not changed since the initial assessment. These structures/areas will only require testing (as part of the follow up study) but will not require a reassessment unless the particular contractor, company, individual, or other party has never assessed these structures/areas on a previous occasion. This solicitation is set aside 100% for eligible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB's) as defined by the solicitation. Offers/quotes shall not be accepted from offerors/contractors in other socioeconomic categories.
