Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1) with Freeman Water Treatment of MS, LLC. 142 Holmar Drive, Brandon, Mississippi 39047-9550 for the services and maintenance providing continuous and uninterrupted clean water purified by reverse osmosis technology and carbon filter water purification systems for ongoing research and development activities.



The minimum needs for this service contract are to provide on-site maintenance and service to various systems to include DI system and replacement consumables. Maintain carbon filtration tap water purification systems and maintenance Pure Water Solutions reverse osmosis systems – GE E4-LE 13200 DLX. Monthly inspections and service are required. Repairs and parts replacement due to normal wear or other system malfunctions, such as but not limited to, on-site water analysis adjustments to components and repair/replacement of necessary filters, membranes, pumps, deionizers and parts as required for the water system. Maintenance is required on government owned systems and rental equipment from Freeman Water Treatment of MS.



The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 423850 – Service Establishment Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 Employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit capable proposals, excluding price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar service. All capability statements received by the closing date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Statements are due by 12:00pm Central Time, Monday, February 5, 2024. No phone calls will be accepted.
