Description

The Roy M. Wheat Dinning Facility at Naval Air Station Meridian, MS has a roughly 1500-gallon underground grease collection tank that requires routine maintenance. The contractor will be required to clean and treat the grease collection unit, as well as dispose of all contents extracted from the tank. Any debris removed from the tank must be transited off station to a proper disposal site. Maintenance services must be performed exactly one time every 30 calendar days (monthly). Each contract performance period is one year in duration which means a total of 12 service events are expected to occur during each contract year. The firm-fixed price contract consists of one base year and four option years. The length of the contract shall not exceed 60 months. If the Government determines that the contractor performed satisfactorily during the active contract year and the customer conveys a continued need for services, then the Government will exercise the next option year. The Government will notify the contractor of its intent to exercise the next option year at least 30 days prior to contract expiration. The Contracting Officer will issue each option year through a contract modification.
