This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with (IAW) the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.603, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number N6931624P0001 is issues as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circular and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) as of the 10 January 2024.
This is a total small business set-aside as per FAR Subpart 19.5. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training.
DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT
Supervisor of Shipbuilding Gulf Coast has a requirement for Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) Training to be conducted on site in Pascagoula, MS.
This training will consist of three phases of training targeted towards 3 distinct groups of Federal Employees based upon their years of service. Each phase will consist of two consecutive one day workshops with 30 attendees each day; for a total of six classes of targeted FERS training.
Phase 1 will target/focus training on personnel in their first five years of federal service.
Phase 2 will include training focused on mid-career personnel; typically personnel with greater than five years of federal service and longer than five years till retirement.
Phase 3 will include training focused on personnel with less than five years of federal service remaining.
Place of Performance: Krebs bldg., Pascoula, MS.
Period of Performance: 01 February 2024 - 30 Sept. 2024.
Specific dates for the trainings will be coordinated after award along with access requirements to the facility.
This combined synopsis/solicitation will close at 4:00 PM (CST) on 19 January 2024.
