Statement of Work (SOW)
Six (6) Electric Powered Delivery Trucks Brand Name or Equal to MotoEV Industrial Buddy 2 Passenger Delivery (EIB-2PD)

1. Objective. Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is seeking a contractor to provide six (2) two passenger electric powered delivery trucks equipped with a cargo box and hydraulic lifts.

2. Background: Nutrition and Food Service delivers food to veterans on a daily basis and need reliable vehicles for transport. The current delivery trucks are continuously breaking down and causing injuries to workers. We are requesting new delivery trucks to transport heavy patient tray delivery food carts to the patient care areas from the outlying nutrition and food service building.

3. Scope. We would like to procure six two passenger street legal delivery vehicles specifically configured for heavy usage, minimal maintenance, and safety to be utilized to transport large food carts to patient care areas at the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi, Mississippi. These vehicles will have to be equipped with rear hydraulic lift gates, with safety bumpers installed to prevent mobile carts from falling off the gate. No additional equipment or installation is required; however, training will be provided by the vendor at the GCVHCS site. The vehicles must minimally meet the specifications below to meet the organization s needs.

4. Specifications/Characteristics:

Salient Characteristics: We require six two passenger (no more and no less than 2 passengers), street legal, battery powered transport vehicles with the following specifications:

- Trojan T105 Plus Batteries
- One on-board charging unit per vehicle purchased
- Minimum of 7.5 KW AC Electric Motor
- Forward/Reverse Switch
- Dashboard
- Ignition Key
- Voltmeter
- Custom Enclosed Box 9.84FT L x 4.75FT H (French style doors on back of box, side doors also included)
- Overall dimensions 15 FT L x 5.1 FT W x 8.4FT H
- Cargo dimensions 10 FT L x 5 FT W x 6 FT H

- Safety features must include Head/tail/brake lights, turn signals, horn, windshield wiper,

WORKING HOURS:

Equipment shall be delivered to: Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531 during normal working hours and days.
Normal Working hours are between 8:00 am 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. All federal holidays excluded. VA follows all Federal holidays that are set by law (USC Title 5 Section 6103). The Government hereby provides notice and Contractor hereby acknowledges receipt that Government personnel observe the listed days as holidays:

Independence Day July 4

In addition to the days designated as holidays, the Government observes the following days:
1. Any other day designated by Executive Order;
2. Any other day designated by the President s Proclamation; and
3. Any other day designated by Federal Statute.

6. Inspection:

Upon delivery, inspection will be conducted to ensure vehicles meet all salient characteristics, all are fully functional, and no visible defects or damage. Only Paul Hernandez, NFS Chief or Douglas Oesterle, Production Chief are authorized to sign for and accept the products following inspection at delivery site.
