**Question and Answers Document posted on 10 January 2023.**

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY AND YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT AN OFFER. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY ANY COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION OF ANY SUBMISSION TO THIS NOTICE, OR TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has a requirement to repair and provide annual service and maintenance of a 50-Ton double girder overhead crane.

The DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. Please note this is subject to change.

The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract (including options) with a five-year period of performance.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain availability of vendors and to determine interest in participation before a Request for Proposal (RFP) is released for the required services.

The ERDC intends to have a site visit prior to release of the RFP. Offerors interested in physically viewing the crane shall email Allison Hudson at Allison.B.Hudson@usace.army.mil no later than 5:00pm on 12 January 2023. A site visit will be held on 17 January 2023 and 26 January 2023 at 9:00am CST at ERDC, Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory, Structural Mechanics Branch, Building 5008, Vicksburg, MS 39180. Due to the complexity of this requirement, potential offerors are required to attend one of the site visits. Offerors are required to have a driver’s license. Offerors are responsible for providing their own personal protective equipment.

Respondents are requested to review the attached DRAFT PWS and submit responses to the following questions:

  1. Contact information: Interested organizations should respond by providing the Government the following information: point of contact, address, telephone, email address, and CAGE code.

  2. Capabilities Statement: If interested, is your company capable of providing the services required?

  3. General questions(s): If any, relating to the PWS that need to be clarified prior to release of the RFP.

Please provide the above information no later than 2:00 PM Central Standard Time on 03 February 2023. Responses should be emailed to Allison Hudson at Allison.B.Hudson@usace.army.mil
