The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify capable sources for ALL of the requirements outlined in the description below and the attached “Draft” Statement of Work (SOW). This notice does not constitute a solicitation (Request for Proposal or Request for Quotation) or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. No solicitation is available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response.
All information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing information provided to the Government. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes.
1. Description of Desired Capabilities
The NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) at Stennis Space Center anticipates a future requirement for a multi-year agency-wide vehicle to procure, CGTech VERICUT® software, machine configuration and training. CG Tech to provide configuration support for NASA’s robot-based automated fiber placement system that utilizes VERICUT software
CGTech VERICUT® a single Numerical Control (NC) data verification and optimization solution that can be used with all Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines and Computer‐Aided Manufacturing (CAM) systems.
2. Comprehensive Requirements
To secure an Agency-wide agreement for CGTech VERICUT® licenses and maintenance. To procure CGTech VERICUT® software products, maintenance, and training. The various NASA center have acquired “perpetual” licenses for CGTech VERICUT® software and modules. New licenses and maintenance of existing NASA licenses should include but are not limited to the products listed in the draft statement of work.
3. Submission Instructions
Responses to this sources sought notice must be submitted in writing. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Proprietary information should be marked accordingly. The response must be received by 11 July 2019, 1300 hours, Central Standard Time. Submissions shall be addressed to the contracting office and personnel outlined below. The Statement of Capabilities (SOC) must provide the following information as a part of its cover sheet:
(a) Company name and address;
(b) Business size and type
(c) Point of Contact;
(d) Phone/E-mail;
(e) NAICS Codes;
(f) Information regarding company's capabilities
The Government is primarily interested in identifying qualified sources capable of meeting the technical and programmatic requirements outlined in the draft SOW. Responses are limited to ten (10) single-sided 8.5" x 11" pages with 1" margins, and 12-point font (Arial or Times New Roman).
Responses from small businesses and small, disadvantaged business firms are highly encouraged. A responding firm should indicate if it is a small business, a HUBZone small business, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, a woman-owned small business, a socially and economically disadvantaged business, an 8(a) firm, a historically black college or university, or a minority institution. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541511 – Custom Computer Programming Services, has been selected for this requirement. The small business size standard is $27.5M.
